A paid Aikido subscription is required to use Aikido Libraries. Usage of Aikido Library variants is limited to the duration of your active subscription.

## Is a subscription required to access patched libraries?

Yes. Aikido Libraries is a paid feature. Your package manager authenticates to Aikido's registry using a workspace-specific token that is tied to your active subscription.

## What happens when a subscription ends?

It is permitted to continue to use the existing revisions of the Aikido Libraries already installed in your software after your Aikido subscription ends. However, your token will stop working and your package manager will no longer be able to pull new or updated versions of already installed libraries from Aikido's registry.
